Vista Tala: Home Away from Home

Image
We just recently went to Vista Tala in Bataan. Another place we found perfect to de-stress and unwind from the busy life we all have at work. With just 3 1/2 to 4 hrs away from Manila, Vista Tala is situated almost at the top of the mountain that's why you expect a really cold weather and a very poor if not no signal at all - perfect if you want to get away and relax for a period of time. We went there on weekday so there's actually not much people except for those that are there on a day tour. We were a bit late from their usual check-in of 2pm. Good thing they are not that strict in terms of check-in period. Since we arrived late, we decided to rest for a while and do some picture taking since its nearly sunset and the weather is getting a lot colder we opt to swim in the morning instead. Look at the view <3 You'll be provided with Wi-Fi Passwords but this only works when you are in the swimming pool area and not when you are inside the room. Ever...

Tagaytay's Very Own Memory Lane

Image
We just came from Lourdes Church, and we decided to go here and have our lunch since its near,  so we can also tick this off on our must-try list. Very famous as the restaurant of Jolina Magdangal's family, we decided to try this one out since we are just an hour and a half away from Tagaytay.   This place as I can say is really very homey, like what all the others are saying, a perfect type of restaurant if you are already in Tagaytay. No need for airconditoners, or electric fans (though they have one).  I read different reviews, and blogs before going here. Mostly all are negative that they do not like the service and the food. According to them, their waiting time usually takes an hour before their food arrives. So when me and the boyfriend went here, we did not expect that much already. When we arrived there, there were few customers, but one group is a bit big, so it looks like as if there are lots of people. With the perfect breeze in Tagaytay, this...

Staycation in the Metro: Azure Urban Resort Residences

Image
Right at the heart of Bicutan and Paranaque, is Azure Urban Resort Residences. It is located just beside SM Bicutan. Owned by the socialite Paris Hilton, this will surely give you the vacation feels even though you are just staying in Manila, or, you have a lot to do in Manila that you can't leave for a long time. We came at Azure by 2pm. We found a contact there so we only paid for 300 pesos each. Though i'm not that sure that outsiders are allowed to go inside, we saw a lady surrendering the wrist bands, locker keys and paying P3,000 for the 6 wrist bands. Meaning, it cost P500 each person for outsiders. We're lucky we found someone selling it for a lower price. The place is easy to find actually, we thought it would be hard to locate, but it isn't. The place is big, though mostly is under renovation. Three condominiums or 4 are being built as of the moment, so its really hard to get a picture-perfect view of the condominiums. The security is...

A Cold Summer at Estancia Tagaytay

Image
Me and my relatives went to a short stay at Estancia Resort Hotel to unwind a bit. It's a big place but it is still there are some portions of it that is not yet developed. You may go in here by riding a jeepney in the terminal in Olivarez (the same jeepney that you ride in going to Picnic Grove). You can see it right away as it is just along the way. There is nothing so special with the looks of the place outside. When you get in, the lobby is beautiful and spacious. in the lobby you will also find there the dining place which is beautiful and cozy with their purple colored seats. While dining you may also see the beautiful view of Tagaytay with the glass walls. (Though don't be surprised, by the right side of the place, you will still see squatter area.) This is what i'm talking about. In order for you to get to the resort itself, you have to go down, you may do so with the stairs or the elevator. (Yes, the first floor is the entrance, the second floor i...
