Something, Somewhere

We were looking for something worth going to Tagaytay when my boyfriend first came back here in the Philippines. Since Tagaytay is just one bus away from where we live, we decided to go to this new place that is just starting to get famous, the Dreamland Arts and Cafe. Th place is just walking distance from Tagaytay Rotonda. Dreamland is also just a stone throw away from the new McDonalds in Tagaytay. (You'll see their signage on the right side of the road if you're coming from Rotonda) If not for this, we wouldn't know that we are already there.  Dreamland Arts and Cafe is just a small and dainty looking cafe.  (Dreamcatchers everywhere) They have this place allocated for photo ops, I'm not sure though if you are allowed to dine here.  You'll also see their menu right outside the cafe. (i think they have already updated this one) We decided to dine outside as it is a bit hot inside, I think the place merely rely on the cool ...

We just came from Lourdes Church, and we decided to go here and have our lunch since its near,  so we can also tick this off on our must-try list. Very famous as the restaurant of Jolina Magdangal's family, we decided to try this one out since we are just an hour and a half away from Tagaytay.   This place as I can say is really very homey, like what all the others are saying, a perfect type of restaurant if you are already in Tagaytay. No need for airconditoners, or electric fans (though they have one).  I read different reviews, and blogs before going here. Mostly all are negative that they do not like the service and the food. According to them, their waiting time usually takes an hour before their food arrives. So when me and the boyfriend went here, we did not expect that much already. We were looking for best coffee shops in Tagaytay, and we found the one called Java Jazz. Its near the Ina ng Laging Saklolo church. Its one of those cool places where you feel relaxed and at home. It gives you the vibe that you wanna stay there forever. This is where you're orders will be served. Though you have an option to sit on the floor or on the chairs, (don't worry they also provide one) but this is more of what they are familiar with. Coffee experience while sitting on the floor and this table. This is what I am talking about. Everything is made of wood. The place is low ceiling-ed. too. There are different paintings around the ceiling. They were happy ones don't worry. They don't portray other lonely meanings like most paintings that were put in the coffee shops. This is what I ordered. Its Irish Hazelnut Cappuccino and Chocolate Coffee Cake. Everything was so affordable. The cake only costs P125.00 its bigger and cheaper ...
