Staycation Review: Azumi Boutique Hotel

I've been researching the best booking apps online and I came across Traveloka. Its not the first time that I heard of it nor tried it out, in fact my last staycation before was also through that platform. ( I just forgot to mention on my post). The offer various deals on flights and hotels. Recently because of the celebration of Independence Day, they gave out promos on hotels and flights so I took advantage of it to take a break from all the stress. For the hotels, you get at P800 off. We chose the 4-star mystery deal in Alabang, meaning we won't know what hotel it is unless the booking is confirmed. Before booking they already provided some information on why should you pick that hotel.

The hotels participating in the mystery deals are little cheaper compare to the rates if the hotel was already named. The rate there is around P2,700++ and since we have the promo code, we only paid for P1,900. To our surprise, we got Azumi Boutique Hotel.

Azumi Boutique Hotel is located in Madrigal Business Park, Alabang right across Molito. The place is also just a stone throw away from Alabang Town Center, so if you happen to feel like you want to go shopping or go try out a nice resto nearby, you have a lot of options.

We arrived there a bit later than the check-in time, so it was hassle-free and it took us just a few minutes. The lobby was just small but it already gave me the feeling that i'm home in that place.
Though what I love the most really is the smell of the lobby. haha (it smells so good for me)

We were provided with a keycard a wi-fi password but during that time, wi-fi is not working so well so we ended up not utilizing that free access much.

The room was small yet the bed is comfortable, and the pillows are fluffy. Its also a good thing that there is a sofabed, so there's room for more, especially if you have a kid with you.

(Our view from the room, outside)

And yes, the place is also very open, with mirrors everywhere, even the C.R.!! But good thing is, there is a curtain or blinds that you can roll down if you want some privacy from the outside, or even while doing your thing in the Comfort Room. haha

The C.R. is clean too. Complete set of toiletries are already provided as well.

One thing I also noticed is that the hotel offers cheap prices of their food and drinks, unlike others that are so overpriced.

I see also that others are concerned that the elevators of the hotel are just two. For us we don't see that as a problem, or maybe because we stayed there during weekdays that is why people are fewer compared to weekends.

If ever you might get hungry also and you're not in the mood to go outside of the hotel, they have their own cafe called Romulo Cafe. It's just located below in the lobby so it's easier to locate. We just did not have the chance to dine there as the room we booked no longer have free breakfast with it.

Since we also arrived a little late, we did not have the chance to swim at their famous infinity pool. Instead, before leaving the place, we just went upstairs to see what it looks like.

For those of you who might want to visit the place, here are some tips:
1. Bring an extra P1,000 pesos for security deposit just in case some accident happened with their facilities.
2. Bring swimming attire if you would want to swim, based on research, they say the pool is best at night time.

How to get there:
1. From north, you may ride a bus bound to Alabang South Station
2. From South Station, you may ride a jeepney going to Zapote, Las Pinas Bayan, SM Southmall, etc.
3. Tell the driver to drop you off at Madrigal Business Park. The place is located on the right if you are inside the jeepney. You will know you are already there if you see a Shell Gasoline Station to your right, and Molito Complex on your left. The building is just walking distance from there, and colored black and orange.
