Late Summer Beachin' at Casa Angelina, Zambales

Image
Can no longer remember when was the last time I updated my blog. I've been so busy that I forgot to put up some stories here. Anyways, just a few months ago, we learned about this so called Casa Angelina, from the town of Cabanagan, Zambales. I know it may not sound as familiar as San Felipe, San Narciso, or San Antonio, but this place is also perfect if you are after peaceful vacation away from the city life. Casa Angelina is owned by the husband and wife tandem of Roy and Joanne. They personally assist the requests of the guests. It only has 4 rooms, 2 are garden view, and the other two for the ocean view. According to Roy, they prefer to keep it that way so the guests can feel the exclusivity of the place. Each room can accommodate up to 7-8 guests comfortably.  (garden view rooms) (This is the first bed you will see when you open the room. They have an additional double deck and bunker bed. Too bad I forgot to take pictures of them.) Their comfort

Inflatable Island 2017 Trip of Happiness

Just last June 16-17, me and my officemates went to Inflatable Island in Subic for our company outing slash incentive trip. It is a first for us to go out of town with our bosses actually (since they are based in Singapore, and its usually just us employees). They decided to pick the dates that will fall on Fri-Sat, so as to avoid the Friday night traffic in Manila and the too much crowded beach dilemma on weekends.  If i'm not mistaken, Inflatable Island just opened to the public last April 1, 2017. Beforehand, only bloggers are allowed to be there to take photos, enjoy and make videos to promote the place for their opening day. We left our office in BGC at around 6:30am and arrived in Subic at 9:30am. This is us, first batch. Since we arrived there a little earlier than expected, while waiting for others, we took photos first. This was our cabana. It can fit up to 15-20 people or 15 + the bags. haha You don't have much choice I think as all the other

Staycation Review: Azumi Boutique Hotel

I've been researching the best booking apps online and I came across Traveloka. Its not the first time that I heard of it nor tried it out, in fact my last staycation before was also through that platform. ( I just forgot to mention on my post). The offer various deals on flights and hotels. Recently because of the celebration of Independence Day, they gave out promos on hotels and flights so I took advantage of it to take a break from all the stress. For the hotels, you get at P800 off. We chose the 4-star mystery deal in Alabang, meaning we won't know what hotel it is unless the booking is confirmed. Before booking they already provided some information on why should you pick that hotel. The hotels participating in the mystery deals are little cheaper compare to the rates if the hotel was already named. The rate there is around P2,700++ and since we have the promo code, we only paid for P1,900. To our surprise, we got Azumi Boutique Hotel. Azumi Boutique Hotel is locat

Hotel Review: Crimson Hotel Alabang

Right just when we found out about the upcoming long weekend, I thought staycation would be nice. Just a few minutes walk from Festival Mall, and right across South Station, there you may find Crimson Hotel in Filinvest, Alabang. Upon research, I found out that it is a 5-star hotel according to hotel booking apps. That being said, I had my expectations higher than usual. I read other blogs and saw that they indeed had a great stay on the place so I wish ours will be the same. When we entered the hotel, we were instructed that the lobby was located on the 8th floor of the building. Chandeliers on the elevators, why not? :) The moment we stepped out of the elevator we already felt the 5-star vibe it gives to their guests with how big the place is. The lobby was really huge. Check-in time was 3pm. We went there at 2:40pm and the lines are already very long. It is quite expected given that fact that it was Saturday, and long weekend as well. We patiently fell in li
