Restaurant Review: Your Local

Located at Esteban Street in Makati, there's this posh restaurant called Your Local. I love the fact that its a bit hidden as it is inside the bldg. there's just a signage that Your Local was located there. We went there last week as I treated my boss for lunch.

Since we are so hungry by the time we came, I had no time to take a picture of the interiors and the business signage itself.

We read some reviews and suggestions on what is best to eat, so here's what we got:
Salmon Donburi and Laksa Fettuccine 
(The meals here are already good for 2 people sharing I guess)


We also ordered their chili crab buns which is soooo good, that as you may notice in the photo, its only 1 and a half burger because we already tried it before I took the photo. :p 

Since this buns came in late, we got a free oatmeal milk ice cream which also tastes like heaven.


What we liked most about this place is their customer service. They did not wait for us to complain with the late chili crab buns, they gave us free dessert right away, which of course made us forget that we are annoyed for one moment.

Its a place recommended for first dates and you want to impress a girl, professional meetings, or just a typical chill on a Friday night. Will definitely comeback in this place. The price is really worth the experience. :)

Vista Tala: Home Away from Home

We just recently went to Vista Tala in Bataan. Another place we found perfect to de-stress and unwind from the busy life we all have at work. With just 3 1/2 to 4 hrs away from Manila, Vista Tala is situated almost at the top of the mountain that's why you expect a really cold weather and a very poor if not no signal at all - perfect if you want to get away and relax for a period of time. We went there on weekday so there's actually not much people except for those that are there on a day tour. We were a bit late from their usual check-in of 2pm. Good thing they are not that strict in terms of check-in period. Since we arrived late, we decided to rest for a while and do some picture taking since its nearly sunset and the weather is getting a lot colder we opt to swim in the morning instead. Antipolo's Best Kept Luljetta's Hanging Gardens Spa

Its been more than a year since I last updated my blog. A lot has happened by then. I focused more on my work, my boyfriend had worked overseas and a lot more. So when he came back, okay we're now back to our usual dates and mini adventures. :) Prior to him coming back, I was already looking for places that we can go. One recommendation I got was this place in Antipolo called Luljetta's Hanging Garden. Right after my boyfriend got enough rest and catching up with his family and friends, I booked a reservation right away.  We thought its a bit far knowing its Antipolo, and we're coming from Cavite. However, we got there faster than we thought we would. The place is already a bit famous in the area so no need to worry that they may take you somewhere else. We already paid the package that we got before going there. We were informed that there's really a lot of people who goes there on weekends so we might come there and get nothing out of it if we do walk-in. W
