Summer in Aquaria Beach Resort Batangas


There is this not-so-new beach resort in Playa, Calatagan, Batangas named Aquaria Beach Resort. It is a 3-hour drive from Cavite. 
It is a beautiful place perfect for a summer getaway. If you feel like swimming in the beach or by the pool, you may do so as they have both.



This is what you'll see when you arrived in the place,



This is the beach place. It is not too far away from the pool so you don't have to worry if you need to transfer from one place to another for the sake of the children that you brought with you who wants to swim in the pool instead. Just be careful because we saw two jellyfish in there, good thing we were not stung.




Their pool. This is I think one of the highlight of the place. They have slides too for those who wanted to have some fun. The water is really made to look blue so its really picture perfect.
You don't have to worry too because they have many shower rooms for those who are already finished dipping in the water.
It is a good place to visit, just a bit pricey because it is part of an exclusive condominium. Per adult costs around P400.00 The latest you can stay here is just until 5pm, because as I said, it is still owned by a private condominium, those late nights if I'm not mistaken were already for those who resides in the condominium. Plus, if you are also commuting, it's hard to go home late from this place.

So yeah, that's me and my still-uncombed-hair. That is the legend and the first thing that is very noticeable once you get in the place.

TIPS:
1. Hire a tricycle who will fetch you after you enjoy in the place. Probably the ones that you rode on your way there, just get manong driver's contact number, so that you just text him if you are almost done packing up.
2. Don't stay too late, you may have hired a tricycle going to the jeepney terminal (which is not like a terminal) but the jeepney also aren't available there anytime, mostly it's just until 5pm.
3. Bring towel. Because its worth P650.00 which is way to pricey.
4. If you wanted to come in group, better yet hire a private vehicle.

How to go there:
1. Ride a bus going to Lian, Batangas. (with a fare of more than P100.00)

2. From Lian, ride a jeep going to Calatagan. (fare is P30.00+ each)
3. In Calatagan, you ride a tricycle going to Playa, (If i'm not mistaken, the fare is also hundred plus)

Vista Tala: Home Away from Home

We just recently went to Vista Tala in Bataan. Another place we found perfect to de-stress and unwind from the busy life we all have at work. With just 3 1/2 to 4 hrs away from Manila, Vista Tala is situated almost at the top of the mountain that's why you expect a really cold weather and a very poor if not no signal at all - perfect if you want to get away and relax for a period of time. We went there on weekday so there's actually not much people except for those that are there on a day tour. We were a bit late from their usual check-in of 2pm. Good thing they are not that strict in terms of check-in period. Since we arrived late, we decided to rest for a while and do some picture taking since its nearly sunset and the weather is getting a lot colder we opt to swim in the morning instead. Antipolo's Best Kept Luljetta's Hanging Gardens Spa

Its been more than a year since I last updated my blog. A lot has happened by then. I focused more on my work, my boyfriend had worked overseas and a lot more. So when he came back, okay we're now back to our usual dates and mini adventures. :) Prior to him coming back, I was already looking for places that we can go. One recommendation I got was this place in Antipolo called Luljetta's Hanging Garden. Right after my boyfriend got enough rest and catching up with his family and friends, I booked a reservation right away.  We thought its a bit far knowing its Antipolo, and we're coming from Cavite. However, we got there faster than we thought we would. The place is already a bit famous in the area so no need to worry that they may take you somewhere else. We already paid the package that we got before going there. We were informed that there's really a lot of people who goes there on weekends so we might come there and get nothing out of it if we do walk-in. W
