New Food Park Alert: Buendia Food by the Court

For Valentine's day this year, since its a weekday and there's work, plus we have errands to do in Cash 'n Carry, we decided to eat somewhere near there. Then my boyfriend mentioned to me about this new food park in town called Buendia Food by the Court, I did not think twice and said yes.

The foodpark opens at 4pm, we just stayed at Jollibee right in front of the Food Park while waiting for the doors to be open. We went there exactly at 4pm and there's a lot of people already. We originally wanted to sit upstairs but all the tables are occuppied so we have no choice.

By the time, the food park was just introduced to the public like a few weeks ago, and it surprised us that there's a lot of people who knows about it already, maybe because it's also Valentine's day.



We bought food at Burger Meets Wings  or BMW for short.



I think most of them are still not used to getting orders from a lot of people. There's a lot of circumstances that wrong orders are served, or there are missing orders. By the time this arrived to us, the line was already long and it would take another hour just to have another order taken considering that its their fault that they weren't able to punch the other meal we ordered.
 In this case, my boyfriend just bought food from other stall (which took him 30mins.again)


We were also not able to enjoy our stay there, as we eat our dinner there are lots of people waiting behind all the occupied tables, so right after we finished our food, we had no choice but to leave the place right away. 

I just wish they place more seats to accommodate more people. During that day, we saw a lot of people gone hopeless that they can stay or celebrate the occasion there. Some even wore heels and curled their hair to have the perfect date. haha but totally understandable on the part of the management that its really just the place they have and its hard to fit in more tables given the current setup that they already have.

How to get there:
1. Coming from Edsa, you may take a bus going to LRT Ayala, and tell the driver to drop you off at Buendia Food by the Court (you'll know you're there as there is Jollibee in front of it)
or 
2. If you're in Buendia (Pasay area) you may ride a jeepney going to Guadalupe, or bus going to Edsa. Tell the driver you're going to Buendia Food by the Court.

Vista Tala: Home Away from Home

We just recently went to Vista Tala in Bataan. Another place we found perfect to de-stress and unwind from the busy life we all have at work. With just 3 1/2 to 4 hrs away from Manila, Vista Tala is situated almost at the top of the mountain that's why you expect a really cold weather and a very poor if not no signal at all - perfect if you want to get away and relax for a period of time. We went there on weekday so there's actually not much people except for those that are there on a day tour. We were a bit late from their usual check-in of 2pm. Good thing they are not that strict in terms of check-in period. Since we arrived late, we decided to rest for a while and do some picture taking since its nearly sunset and the weather is getting a lot colder we opt to swim in the morning instead. Antipolo's Best Kept Luljetta's Hanging Gardens Spa

Its been more than a year since I last updated my blog. A lot has happened by then. I focused more on my work, my boyfriend had worked overseas and a lot more. So when he came back, okay we're now back to our usual dates and mini adventures. :) Prior to him coming back, I was already looking for places that we can go. One recommendation I got was this place in Antipolo called Luljetta's Hanging Garden. Right after my boyfriend got enough rest and catching up with his family and friends, I booked a reservation right away.  We thought its a bit far knowing its Antipolo, and we're coming from Cavite. However, we got there faster than we thought we would. The place is already a bit famous in the area so no need to worry that they may take you somewhere else. We already paid the package that we got before going there. We were informed that there's really a lot of people who goes there on weekends so we might come there and get nothing out of it if we do walk-in. W
