Revolution of Pinoy Food at KKK

There is this Filipino food place that we tried, which I do love the concept that they use, that is, food as the symbol of Pinoy Revolution. This is called the KKK restaurant.
The names of their food are all in tagalog, which you may find cute and rich in culture.
While you are waiting for your food, you were served with chicharon matched with their delicious sukang paombong.
The waiters and waitresses are wearing Filipiniana costumes so it really gives you the vibe of being a Filipino during the revolution way back then.

The categories of their food too was also very witty like unang sigaw (starters), piggy-tarian (pork dishes), maki baka, (beef specialties), Mga titltian (relishes), sabaw (soup), Sa pula, sa puti (chicken specialties), ga yamang dagat at ilog (seafood) and more.

Here are the food that we ordered.

the kare-kare categoirized in Maki Baka
(the bagoong was also good)

baked tahong

the fish is actually hito, I just forgott the name of the dish itself

Annd, we had halo-halo for dessert

We ordered 2 of the kare-kare,1 pitcher of iced tea, 6 or 7 rice if i'm not mistaken, 5 halo halo, and one of each of the other viands that I posted. We were 5 people who dined in here, and our bill never exceed P2,000 which is already good for the 5 of you. And by the way, each viand is already good for 2-3 people.

Just in case you dropped by at SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, SM Mall of Asia, and SM Fairview, why not give it a try? I tell you, you won't be disappointed with their food.

xx
