Antipolo's Best Kept Luljetta's Hanging Gardens Spa

Its been more than a year since I last updated my blog. A lot has happened by then. I focused more on my work, my boyfriend had worked overseas and a lot more. So when he came back, okay we're now back to our usual dates and mini adventures. :)

Prior to him coming back, I was already looking for places that we can go. One recommendation I got was this place in Antipolo called Luljetta's Hanging Garden. Right after my boyfriend got enough rest and catching up with his family and friends, I booked a reservation right away.

We thought its a bit far knowing its Antipolo, and we're coming from Cavite. However, we got there faster than we thought we would. The place is already a bit famous in the area so no need to worry that they may take you somewhere else.

We already paid the package that we got before going there. We were informed that there's really a lot of people who goes there on weekends so we might come there and get nothing out of it if we do walk-in.
We got the Comfort Spa Journey Package worth P2,575/head. It already includes:
  • Access to hanging garden facilities (Sauna, Dr. Fish Spa, Heated Jacuzzi, Hydro Massage Pool, Infinity Pool, Meditation Lounges)
  • Snacks of Antipolo's Best Suman
  • Set Meal (soup, salad, pasta and dessert)
  • Luljetta's Signature massage with ear candling or a cup of coffee scrub

When we arrived, we just changed into our swimming attire and roam around the area first and did some photo-ops, then we already went to eat our lunch as scheduled. (They are going to ask you upon registration what time would you prefer your lunch to be served, and since its nearly lunch time, we decided to eat first before everything else.

(This is us wearing the traditional Batik Robe as part of your stay there)

(here's a basket, it already includes the batik robes and towels good for two)
P.S. Don't worry if you forgot to bring slippers like me,  they can lend you one, you just have to surrender your shoes in exchange

Everywhere in that place has simple statements like this to uplift your spirits in case you are so down,  they also have a good music to make your stay more relaxing.

Here's our set lunch. As you may notice with the food they serve, it seems like everything is so healthy. haha The servings are a bit small but its understandable with what the image the place wants to portray, healthy and peaceful.

Here are some of the other photos:

( at one of their infinity pools)

There are lots of people in other places so we were only able to take pictures here. My boyfriend and I are also not a fan of fish spa, so we skipped that part.
After the infinity pool, we spent longer time in the jacuzzi, and sauna (which I wasn't able to take pictures of)

Then, we had our merienda before taking our massage. :) Served with Lemon Grass Iced Tea, their suman is the best!!

We proceeded to our massage after this, you have to be in the locker room area at least 15mins before your scheduled massage.

The massage was soo good that I fell asleep during the session. After the massage, there comes the ear candling. I was too curious too on what is it about, and I have to say it's fun to try out. haha!

Before we leave, we were lucky enough to be able to witness the sun set.

Tips:
  1. You have to let a staff know that you returned the basket completely with robe and towels as they are going to let you sign some papers as proof that you are cleared before you exit, as if not, you have to pay for it.
  2. It's best to come on weekdays as there's really a lot of people during weekends.
  3. If you're looking for a place where you would just want to get pampered and de-stress from everything, this is one of the best place to be. :)

How to get there via commute:
  1.  Go to MRT Araneta-Cubao
  2.  Downstairs the MRT, there is a UV Express terminal going to Antipolo. Tell the driver to drop you off at Antipolo Simbahan. (P50.00 fare each) You need not to worry as that is also the last stop of the van. (Estimated travel time: almost 1hr moderate traffic)
  3. From the drop-off area, you may already ride a tricycle going there. Tell the driver you are going to Luljetta's, the resort. (P60.00 fare/tricycle)
On your way back to Manila,
  1. At the exit of Luljetta's you may ask the guard to hail a tricycle for you.
  2. Tell the driver you're going to the terminal either going to Cubao or Ayala. If you're going to cubao, its via Sumulong Hi-way, and via C-5 for Ayala. I'm not sure though about the travel time if your going to choose the latter. (Fare is still P50,00/head going to Cubao). We left Luljetta's at almost 7pm, and lucky enough there's no traffic, so by 8pm we're already in Cubao.
