Museum Visit: Pinto Art Musem Antipolo

So yesterday was me and the boyfriend's 33rd, and since it fell on a Saturday, we thought of celebrating. This is the first part of our celebration. We visited one of the becoming more and more famous nowadays museum, the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo.

The place was so beautiful and the paintings and art pieces for me are all very mysterious. If you are really into art, then you'll appreciate this place as much as we do.

As you enter, you'll be directed straight towards the registration area where you should also pay the fee. P180.00 for the regular price and P100.00 for the student. When we got there the weather is starting to be in bad mood. The sky is already dark and the thunders are already roaring up there.

Here are some of the photos that I can share to all of you. See for yourself how beautiful the place is.

This is the second hall that we visited.

There are a lot of art galleries in this place located in different places that's why they provide maps for every guest.

They also have a cafe. But I warn you now that it is a bit pricey.

Here are some of the art pieces:

Among everything, this is my favorite:

There are actually a lot of secret passage ways that will lead you to little exhibit rooms and there are some artworks and paintings and even places there that are a bit creepy (I warned you now at least ;)  I also love the grotesque feels that it brings you especially on the area where there are couches by the window or the open area. The weather the time we came is also a bit unpredictable, it rained then stopped and get a bit sunny but eventually rained again. I wish the museum is air-conditioned. If only Antipolo is near our place we'd probably stay here a little longer.

If you're really a fan of museums and art then you'll appreciate this as much as we do.

How to get there:
1. We went to EDSA Shaw Boulevard, and from there we rode a jeep going to Antipolo.
(The trip was almost an hour because of the traffic)
2. Tell the driver to drop you at Ynares Center.
3. From Ynares Center ride a tricycle going to the Grand Heights Subdivison, (its at 1 Sierra Madre Street).
4. Tellt he guard in the guardhouse that you are just going to the Pinto Art Museum.
The fare from Edsa Shaw Boulevard to Antipolo is P25.00
and the tricycle costs P30-40.00

Entrance Fee:
Regular rate -  P180.00
Senior Citizens and Students-  P100.00

That's all for now, till our next trip together! xx
