Staycation in the Metro: Azure Urban Resort Residences

Right at the heart of Bicutan and Paranaque, is Azure Urban Resort Residences. It is located just beside SM Bicutan. Owned by the socialite Paris Hilton, this will surely give you the vacation feels even though you are just staying in Manila, or, you have a lot to do in Manila that you can't leave for a long time.

We came at Azure by 2pm. We found a contact there so we only paid for 300 pesos each. Though i'm not that sure that outsiders are allowed to go inside, we saw a lady surrendering the wrist bands, locker keys and paying P3,000 for the 6 wrist bands. Meaning, it cost P500 each person for outsiders. We're lucky we found someone selling it for a lower price.

The place is easy to find actually, we thought it would be hard to locate, but it isn't. The place is big, though mostly is under renovation. Three condominiums or 4 are being built as of the moment, so its really hard to get a picture-perfect view of the condominiums.

The security is not that strict, so we were able to get inside right away. We go straight to the receptionist to have ourselves registered and get our wristbands. I think our contact just told that receptionist that we are her guests so the transaction was fast. We got right away our locker keys and our wrist bands.

Our contact told us that we can't lose the wristbands because it serve as our passes.

This on the other hand is my locker key. We got two lockers because boys' and girls' were separated. This also cannot be lost. You literally have to bring it everywhere you go because I think they have a fine once the key is lost.

 We changed into our swimming outfits right away, but decided to roam around the area for a while and take pictures before dipping in the pool because its still so hot.

This is the pool area for the kids. I see them enjoying so much especially with the big pail up there that tends to splash them all the water once the pail was already full. 

A much closer version of the sand. You have an option whether you walk on it to give you the added feels of the beach but they also have a separate pathway for those people who are having a hard time to walk on the sand.

You can really see the effort of the management to give the best to the people in here. As you may notice from the seats that thy provide the guests where they can relax.

There is also a volleyball court for those who wanted to play. You just have to bring your own ball, or at least ask the management if they can lend you one.

They also have this cafe/ restaurant in the middle of the pool area, as you may notice, the one with  white roof.

This is the pool area, for the adult and it can also be for the kids. The deepest part is 5ft. 

Every hour it turns into a wave pool, and the wave can go as high as 7ft, so if youre not an expert then don't go on the deepest part because it will just go deeper.

This is what I love most, they have an infinity pool. The water level is just 4ft. Plus there were reclined seats in the water area where you can also relax, maybe while drinking your favorite shake, or reading a book.

How to go there:

1. From Coastal Mall intersection ( near KFC) we rode a jeepney with a signboard Sucat Tatawid. The fare is P20.00/head (Estimated travel time: 40mins-1 hour) 
2. You tell the driver to drop you off at the jeepney terminal going to SM Bicutan. Its located before the jeepney crosses the intersection of Sucat
3. From there, ride a jeepney going to Merville, SM Bicutan. (You'll pass by Azure already in that jeepney), the fare is P8.00
4. or from Edsa, ride a bus going to Alabang, that should pass through Bicutan and Sucat. (Not the one that takes the Skyway route).
5. Tell the driver to Drop you off at Bicutan, and from there you just use the overpass a walk a bit.
