A Cold Summer at Estancia Tagaytay

Me and my relatives went to a short stay at Estancia Resort Hotel to unwind a bit. It's a big place but it is still there are some portions of it that is not yet developed. You may go in here by riding a jeepney in the terminal in Olivarez (the same jeepney that you ride in going to Picnic Grove). You can see it right away as it is just along the way.

There is nothing so special with the looks of the place outside. When you get in, the lobby is beautiful and spacious. in the lobby you will also find there the dining place which is beautiful and cozy with their purple colored seats. While dining you may also see the beautiful view of Tagaytay with the glass walls. (Though don't be surprised, by the right side of the place, you will still see squatter area.)

This is what i'm talking about.

In order for you to get to the resort itself, you have to go down, you may do so with the stairs or the elevator. (Yes, the first floor is the entrance, the second floor is the lobby, and the third is the resort itself.

This is how you go to the rooms.

There is also an event place for gatherings like birthday, wedding, reunion, etc. just in case you wanted to celebrate it also in Estancia.

It just so happens to be tiring as you need to walk, climb up and down the so many stairs before you reach your room. (Instead of having one straight staircase) Our room is on the most upper part. It's not so friendly for the elderly people who has arthritis, osteoporosis and the like. Though there are still some rooms far away from here wherein you still need to ride a golf cart just to get in there

The golf cart and the view.

If you wanted to have a little stroll in the morning, you may do so.

The pool with the freezing cold water.
We were lucky enough that only few are dipping in the pool that early morning. But even us can't take the coldness of the water so we transferred in the jacuzzi.
In using the jacuzzi you need to have it reserved first as you check-in the hotel since they still have to prepare the water in it. There are two jacuzzi areas in the place, the one is beside the sauna (which both were just on the left side of the pool)  but is not used. So we tried the jacuzzi somewhere far in here. The other jacuzzi is also beside a pool for the elders which is 6-7ft deep I think.
There is also sauna for your mom and dad to try just in case they don't feel like swimming in the pool.

There is also an entertainment place which you may try. Of course they have options other than swim the whole time.

The next day, we had our breakfast in the purple dining area. Here's their menu,

There's nothing really so special with their breakfast choices.

The room is also nice. it has posts beside the bed and another stairs to get into the bedroom.

At least you have an idea now of what the inside of the room looks like. (Almost the same idea with the design of the door, too much wood)

One thing that we just noticed in the room is that they do not have complimentary bottled water for the guests.

The staffs are really kind and welcoming to their guests.

We got this short stay for (de luxe family room for P6,000 inclusive already of breakfast).
Since you are in Tagaytay, expect the coldness in the evening and early morning, so better bring your jacket.

There, I hope I gave you enough idea just in case you plan visiting Estancia. xx
